Babbling Farker
I can’t even tell you when the last time was that I cook baby backs, but they were on sale for $2.49 a pound, so I picked some up for the freezer.
I’ve been wanting to try Oak Ridge BBQ’s Sweet Rib Rub, figured this would be the perfect time.
These were cooked on my MAK 1 Star running at 225° to start, then ramped it up to 275° about halfway through. Couldn’t tell you how long, I never really time the longer cooks. No foil no spritz, I typically just flip them once per hour for a little self-baste.
Wife likes sauce, so these were finished with Blues Hog Championship Blend. I must say, this was a winning combination, very tasty.
Plated with some Boston baked beans and slaw, both homemade.
