Spruce Pine BBQ Festival is part of the SBN body. We only had to do 3 meats, pork, ribs and chicken. The butts were issued to all teams to be on the same playing field.

2. Rained all weekend long but we stayed dry in the trailer

3. Pork turn-in. MM fell apart so we used chunks (11th place out of 20 in pork)

4. Rib turn-in box (5th place out of 20)

5. Chicken turn-in (3rd place out of 20)

Overall we finished 8th out of 20 teams. We seem to be doing better and better as this was our only 4th event. 3rd time we have had calls in catagories.

How do you set up cooking on your gate? How did you attach your banner to the awning? Sorry, but my trailer is the exact set-up, i think

We level the best we can on the gate and roll out smoker out and set it up. THe banner was attached with some awning hooks then stretched with bungie cords.
