99 cent butts at Kroger

Kroger ad starting today has pork butts for 99 cents lb. Have not seen them that cheap in a while. I need to get at least 2. Only have 1 in the freezer.

Heck I’ve got two in the fridge thawing for this weekend trying to clear out a little room in the deep freeze from the last time they were that price....

Still have at least 2 though and a couple racks of spareribs.

We are blessed here in the Austin, TX area that the HEB stores have had butts on sale for $1.00/lb numerous times recently. Basically all last month the local HEBs had butts for that price, even during the freeze event.

That price is as good as it gets around here. Might be some sausage making in my future :-D

Not here they aren't! I checked Kroger yesterday and Pork Shoulder was $2.99/lb! Ouch!

For that kind of money, I'm going to have to take a hard pass. I think the last butts I bought at Sam's were $1.29 at case price.
