I bought a few bags of "all natural" dried pig ears for my dogs. In the past they loved the "smoked" version. But the all natural was on sale. Needless to say, i decided, what the hell, they love to steal my smoked jerky, why not smoke some of their pig ears. Long story short....
They wont eat them! WTF...

Sure, those ideas would probably work. But....WTF why they don't want to eat the smoked pig ears?

Im gonna let them set out and hopefully mellow out. Maybe they are too strong for their senses. I could be wrong, but if im right, heads up for any other dog lovers, if you smoke stuff for them, consider this opinion.

Good idea. Most folk do that after smoking cheese. Maybe the oak smoke is not to the dogs liking?

Soak them in water then dry them out. Might get rid of the strong smoke.

I also wonder if the 'natural designation means no salt. Dogs love salty things.

We have 2 dogs-

One will eat anything.

The other is super picky - this can be very trying.

I would think your dog treats would be a home run.

Let them air out some- that's the easiest, lest bothersome action.
