Bacon, Garlic, Scallion, Pepper Jack Cheese Pull Bread

Hadn't made this in awhile.

Fried some bacon til crisp...

added butter to the bacon drippin's and sauteed some scallions and garlic...

scored the loaf of bread...

sliced pepper jack and this time used some mozzarella...

stuffed the bread...

spooned the sauteed garlic and scallions into the cracks...drizzled the bacon drippin's and butter in too...

into the drum with a bit of hickory..

covered for about 20 minutes til heated and the cheese melted...

Then removed the foil and let the bread crisp a bit....

Topped with more scallions and crisp bacon...

Grabbed a piece while it was hot and gooey...

I love this stuff.

I like the way the bacon drippin's and butter soak into the bread...

Poured some wine and called er good.

This was supper, bread and wine. Not fancy, but I was ok with it.
