Not mine but a beauty of a built-in Santa Maria that I saw while takIng my kids apple picking.

Saddest part? I asked the cook what he was cooking over, he said, "burgers, hot dogs." I asked again, no, what kind of wood? Answer: "don't know, just some wood from that pile over there, saplings I think."

*Sigh*

What a great set up though.... I was much jealous.

Sad....
 
Not much now since we're only there a couple weekends a month, but once I'm there full time, things will improve.

I'll add a forno oven to the pit area.

Then I'll build an adjustable wrack for the fire pit.
