After 18 weeks and 2 days got the long awaited e-mail... My LSG offset has gone into production. Most likely wont have by the 4th but that's OK. :whoo:

Congrats! I thought from the postings that you had ordered yours before me, but I guess I beat you by one week. I got the email on the 15th. ROCK ON!:whoo:

Just remember to start off with placing the tuning plates where Chris suggests in the handbook and go from there. I think it is better to tune the cooker without food inside it. Wait a couple of hours to let the cooker settle in...maybe not that long where you live... :-D

Like Chris says, keep the cooker below 250* or so while seasoning to let the paint further cure in.

I cooked on mine while the seasoning process was underway. I let it run about 5 hours and just couldn't stand it anymore so I threw on a couple naked fatties. :icon_smile_tongue:
