Hey Brethren, I just wanted to check in and say thanks for having me, it was a great time. From the pre bash dinner to the event itself I think I ate more in those two days than I did all week.

It was a pleasure to meet every single one of you.

I'm just recovering from my meat coma. My wife and I had a great time, and are looking forward to the next annual bash. So what's the date for the next bash?

There will be another Hank, at least that is the plan. I have a couple of ideas, one even includes a open pit fire if I can find a place to pull it off.

:cool::cool::cool:

Great pictures everyone! R2Egg2Q, I hereby name you the Bay Area Bash photographer for all perpetuity.
I'm already thinking about next year...
YEP!!!
I'll second that motion!!!! Great Job :thumb:

I am actually feeling a little over fed.

That feeling started for me Friday night about the time Charlotte served up the burnt ends 'n cheese stuffed potatoes, I hope it goes away soon...

I think I actually managed to try atleast 80% of all the outstanding food that was created.

Yep me too!!! I only had 1 of each errrrrrrrrrr well except for 2 bowls of chilli, and several ribs and awwwwwww HE!! I lied....:becky:

....................DISCLAIMER...............

The pic's of me that have been posted in this thread were taken AFTER dinner at Phatt Matt's and some "light dining" (I suspect some Photo Shop mods here) I am really a lot slimmer......

THANK YOU!!!! Phatt Matts and staff for the OUTSTANDING Pre- Bash appetizers, dinner and dessert, and bringing your Klose. :clap2:

THANK YOU!!!! Tim and Carrie for letting us play in your backyard, and the use of your facilities. It was fun.. :clap2:

THANKS!!!! to all the Brethren who contributed to the success of the event. :clap2:

It was nice to associate faces with screen names, and to meet you in person. I had a great time

So, When is the 2011 Bash? How can I help?

Oh, and in Battle Cheese Curds, I decided Wisconsin curds tasted better, but, California curds had better texture.

Wisconsin handed us our Butz in this First Annual Curdz by the Bay but we will be back next year with better cheese (and we might actually try some of our curds first). I still have 4 pounds of curds to play with. Thanks BigButz!

How's this place? We have access to this private ski lake, and it's just a short drive to the central valley. You can even camp out if you want and party until the cows come home :-D

And as evident, we can build a fire :thumb:

Well, that is a nice little place, certainly to be considered. I was not planning on letting the cow wander off, it has a job.

I went through the rest of the pictures and picked out some more that didn't quite make the first cut. Rather than add a really pron heavy post, here's a link to a photobucket album for "TheRest": http://s1005.photobucket.com/albums/af172/R2Egg2Q/BayAreaBashOct2010/NorCalBashOct2010-TheRest/

I had a great time at the Bash and it was a pleasure to meet everyone! I'm looking forward to the next one!:hungry:

Seriously man, thanks for rocking the cam like you did!The bash was awesome but, having people to record it helps explain how fun it was to everyone else.

Seeing all these photos makes me realize how much I missed out on, AMAZING. Already looking forward to next year.

Finally showed all the pics of the bash to my wife, she approved of the menu. :thumb:
But, not of my choice of clothing for the day  I believe the term "Upside down pumpkin" came up. :tsk:
Do you think we could come up with a dish called "An upside down pumpkin" I'm thinking a hollow pumpkin smoked for awhile ann filled with a mixture of meats and sausages. Finish cooking for several more hours. We can then slice into it and have a nice mixed grill...anyways your post made me think. Great to hang out on Saturday.

Great pictures everyone! I'm glad you all caught photos because I was either going nuts on a cooker or getting to know you all. R2Egg2Q, I hereby name you the Bay Area Bash photographer for all perpetuity.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the photos! If I'm not busy cooking or stuffing my face with food :hungry: I'll be happy to take photos at the next bash!

Thanks to the Derrick and Larry for their great photos!:thumb: I'm bummed that I missed out on the group photo, the MOINK balls, and the crock lobster (I forgot to bring cole slaw to complement the pulled pork and I ran home to get it when all this happened ).
