I use the spitjack and like it. SlamDunk Productions who is a member sells some nice injectors. I have seen them work. Check sales and ventures

Chicago doesn't seem to have a lot of Tractor Supply places...

Here in the sunny South, you can't throw a rock w/o hitting a
John Deere dealership or a Tractor Supply. Love it.

If not cooking a lot of volume I have used the Cajun injectors, some larger ones from butchers, and I have a spithack but find the needles to be ginormous!

My new favorite is from a vet supply house. Reletively inexpensive, and all but eliminates refilling. You just put one end of a plastic/rubber tube in a jar of whatever you're injecting, connect the other end to the injector, and squeeze.

Hard to search on my phone but will find and post later today. Was suggested by Todd from plowboys.
ONLY issue I've found is that, because of the small valves it uses to pump, you need to filter the injection to prevent clogs

Edit - here's the original thread http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...jector+plowboy

Its made to innoculate a large number of animals at once. I actually ended up with two different ones. Once I locate the link to the better of the two, I'll post the links to both

This is the one I like the best....happen's it was the one Todd recommended http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.h...8-edd8320ec6fe

YMMV

I got this one. I think I got it from butcher-packer. It isn't cheap but man does it get the job done. I've used it for competition and for catering.

Default Cajun Injectors Do The Trick For Home Use

Their made of stainless steel and do have large holded needles; you just have to request them. Customer service person Heather sent me 3 free when I told her I needed larger holded needles. The injector unit and 3 needles are $25.00 to boot.

Another Spitjack vote. I like how you can dial the amount you want to inject. Built solid as well.

Google it and see if you can get it online. I believe butchers bbq sells them as well.
I bought one and was lovin it til the threads on the plastic tube broke. Even though I was real gentle with em out of fear of exactly that. Still if I can find replacement tubes I will use it.
