Just a way to use extra pulled pork if you have any.

The filling was pulled pork, Soileaus, minced onions and minced water chestnuts for crunch.

I know I make these a lot. They are an easy meal for me. :-D

Thanks for looking!

Wow, those look good. Did you fry them in a fryer, or in a skillet? What kind of oil? Are the wraps in the frozen foods section of your local grocery store?

Those looks great and would make a wonderful tailgate app.

A few questions if you don't mind...

1. Are those just regular egg roll wrappers available at any grocery store?
2. What kind of deep frying oil did you use? 350* I assume?
3. About how long did they get deep fried? Sorry, have a fryer, but never actually used it before. I think what's keeping me away is what to do with the leftover oil.
4. What is the green on the finished plate? More green onion?

Thanks!!!

Those look damn good. I've done eggrolls a few times as well and they are one of my favorite ways to use leftover pulled pork/chicken/beef. Super easy and you can add a little to the pork filling or a lot of stuff.

Hey on your #3 question you mentioned wondering what do do with the leftover oil. You actually just reuse it. I have a small fryer and you can filter the oil through a strainer to get the excess crumbs/leftover batter out of it. Sometimes I don't even strain each time. Probably use a batch of oil 5 or 6 times before i put new oil in there.

Please send some to the east coast!!!!!! Is the sauce recipe on the blog?

Thank you friends. I would have shared with ya. :thumb:

Thank you Goldflinger... I used a skillet with peanut oil and I get the eggroll wraps in the veggie aisle of the grocery store. They are usually with the tofu. Hope you try them sometime. :-D

Yes the oil was probably 350F.
I used a skillet so I just turned them when the bottom was crisp and brown.
Yes again.... those are green onions on the plate. I love green onions. :-D

Thanks Smoked...

Thank you jgbmgb! I would deliver. lol The sauce is Billy Sim's Boot Kickin Q sauce. I am hooked on the stuff. :-D

Those look awesome. I've been wanting to do something like that with leftovers, thanks for getting me motivated. I think I'm gonna smoke a head of red cabbage and add some of that to it!

Thats a stroke of genius. I am definitely going to to some of those.

Great work Cowgirl. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while. I'm not sure mine would turn out so purdy though.
