Hi guys , im a new member after doing some research i've seen that tel-tru is the thermo of choice but my issue is the shear cost as im needing to buy 5, any other recommendations that might keep it in a reasonble price range?

Riiver country is another good option. Cheaper and still accurate

I buy Char-Broil gauges from HD or Lowe's.
1 1/2" and 2 1/2" and less than $10 each.
Accurate also.

I have 4 Tel-Trus and 3 RCs. I like the clean (no color) look of the Tel-Trus but it is hard to beat the price of the RCs, they perform well and are adjustable.
