It's not that I didn't want one I just don't have the space in the back yard (Weberitis). Last week at work an Ace Hardware email slapped me in the face. Opened the website and saw Blackstones were kinda on sale. In a moment of weakness with one click I became $60.00 poorer. Hear are some pics of tonight's break in.

Now I know what all the hype was about. Love it. Thanks for looking.

My work offers well-being rewards where we can log stuff like working out and going to get annual checkups to get well-being points. Essentially at the end of the year, you can cash those in to get a gift card from various retailers such as Amazon. Looks like I've got enough for this year to get me a 36in Blackstone so I will be drinking the Kool-aid myself here soon!!!

JacksBBQ: Glad you being well! Here's to how much even better it will be at the end of the year!

I almost pulled the trigger. Honestly, I'm regretting the Weber 26" I got. I got it to make burgers and Croatian style čevapćići which are like finger length skinless sausages grilled....

Problem is - burgers and these sausages flare on a grill. So now I'm looking at a mojoe, but it's meant for a 22" kettle. For daily use, I go with my Weber Gas grill.

So I need a griddle... husband will kill me if I buy a new grill/blackstone. He's the Croat from the city...and has never grilled a day in his life. I'm the Iowa girl who does the grilling (in MD)

Talk to Dwfisk.. he is a member here and i know he has made flat tops for webers and also to put on gas grills

Get a griddle top made for your Weber or get some cat iron - best of both worlds!!
And he won't kill you once he eats the food that comes off it...

One for my Weber he wouldn't have issue I don't think. Though I have little Q with griddles I could use too.

THis is for teh Kettle grill I'm taking to a large cookout weekend for Memorial Weekend for 130 people (with some camp stoves with griddles working too) and we have a 4th party with about 40-50 people too - where it would be handy...

Then you have all sorts of justification for getting the 36"!!!! You have my permission!:-D:-D:-D

the problem with this is that the griddle insert costs just about as much as this stand-alone blackstone 17. and the 17 is much more portable. :)
