Reinjecting a butt

Anyone ever reinjected a butt before you wrap it? I have a buddy who wants me to try it, but I don't see the benefit. My butts always come out moist, but he thinks I can add more flavor by injecting a 2nd time. It seems to me that it would also add to the total cooking time. Any thoughts?

This for a contest? i don't inject my butts at all just season them the night before.. in a rub that isn't heavy on salt all the flavor i want

I don't see the point in a 2nd injection, looks like it would make it almost to wet, stay with what works..........

Depends on the injection I would think and the style of BBQ you want.

I tried it once on something. Can't remember if it was brisket or pork. Didn't work at all. Injection wasn't getting absorbed at all. Would shoot back out - sometimes with force - as soon as the needle was pulled out
