Prison Food

Apprentice contracts used to include a clause limiting the number of lobster meals allowed. My understanding is that, prior to refrigeration, lobster was cheap because it spoiled too quickly to be shippable.

Another winner Adams! Mighty fine!

Thanks everyone!! Been "batching" it since Thursday, prior to that flyfishing the San Juan. Wife flies back in this afternoon. Guess I've not seen her in 8days. A boy, a dog and his grills comes to a close (and a loud mix of Waylon Jennings-Eagles-Robt Earl Keane-Pink Floyd and Jack Daniels).

Remember, if it's to cold to smoke-then grill. Must be hungover, it's never to cold.

Funny Right?? Indians used them to fertilize crops, fed to prisoners and indentured servants almost every meal. Now it's high dollar cuisine

That goes for almost all BBQ now! And for those of us who have the patience and love of the long cook, we now eat like kings...
