I know technically turkey roasters aren't BBQ but I'm looking to get one for keeping my pulled pork warm during parties when I have more than one one butt worth. Anyone that have one ever use it for that? Curious if there will be hot spots or anything like that which will prevent it from holding pulled pork for a few hours while guests serve themselves.

Also thinking of using it for larger sous vide cooks. Looking for some suggestions on brand, features, or even alternative solutions.

How about just a chafer, much cheaper, easier to store.

I got 3 sets of wire chafing dishes for foil pans and some sterno and it has handled my needs perfectly...think I spent $30 for the initial setup with a case of sterno.

Cambro / the one I have will hold 4 full size steam pans for several hours

We use the chafers noted as well. The water keeps stuff from burning. They work great.

We have a turkey roaster, but we use that to roast turkeys :) Never considered it for using to serve, but I suppose it would work. Can't recall off the top of my head if the temp can be set low enough for warming rather than cooking
