Are you tired of your normal Cole Slaw?

I've been looking for a "Different" Cole Slaw recipe and came up with this.

Can be served as a side, or as my wife says, "This can be dessert"!

Try it, I think you will like it.

Measurements are approximate:
1 1/2 Cup Mayo
2-3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Can Crushed Pineapple
2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
Salt and Pepper

Add all the above ingredients to make your dressing. Pour over Shredded Cabbage.

Topping:
2 Cups Sliced Almonds Lightly Covered with Brown Sugar and Toasted for
a Few Minutes in a 300 Degree Oven.

Sprinkle Toasted Almond Mixture over the top.
Chill for at least two hours. The longer this sets up, the sweeter it gets!

That does sound tasty TB. :thumb:

A little apple butter might be a nice addition too... :caked:

Don't confuse people. Not all readers are familiar with my Apple Butter experience. :tape: Apple Butter is the devil. :tsk: At least the store bought type. It's nasty, and NOT to be added to this tasty recipe. :biggrin1:
