what cut of beef?

I know people don't like these premarinated solution cuts of meat but for $8.00 I had to buy it.
Any one ever cook one of these. Isn't filet usually a lot more expensive?

What are you going to do with it ? Never had that one , but I'd indirect cook then sear ...
 
That's funny. I just bought 3 "tri tips" in a peppery concoction on manager special this morning for 99c each. Yep 99c each. I'll post pictures of them when I get home. Figure for 99c i could afford the Hospital trip when I get sick from them......

Yeppers, I would bet on the Mock Tender as well, whenever they say petite filet.
 
These aren't tenderloins but if you don't cook them too well done, they are pretty tender.
