Looking good! Where did you get the size of the half-moon intake? Feldons?

I just picked up my first propane tank 72"x24", will hopefully start cutting soon. What is the purpose for the soapy looking water and the fire built inside?

So that we don't lose a brother to propane that might still be lurking in the tank, and to burn off whatever's inside that we don't want in the food.

I've read where you'll want some kind of a lip at the bottom back of the cook chamber to keep grease from potentially running in to the firebox and causing a blaze. Looks awesome and I'd bet your pretty jacked to get cooking on it!

Once the reverse flow plate is in, there shouldn't be anyway for grease to get to the firebox.....

Been super sick the last week and half. Haven't been able to get much done. Was able to get the RF plate tacked in. Hopefully have so time to get some done this weekend.

Yep it will collect the grease and at the end will be a pipe out the bottom with a ball valve to drain it.

Stainless smoke stake is mocked up. Holes are cut in the doors to recess the temp gauges. Hopefully get some more progress on it this week.
