I brought home my family's new cooker from Shirley Fabrication today. I got back to Plainfield Illinois from Tuscaloosa this morning at 0230. I sprayed it down with vegitable oil and now I'm giving it a good seasoning. Guys I know you've heard it from this site before but I'm here to tell you that these guys don't mess around. Shirley Cookers are just amazing cooking machines. What these country boys can do with raw material is nothing short of works of art. A huge thank you to Paul, Tyler and all the crew, I just can't say enough. I will have many posts yet to come. Now it's time to post a few pictures.

That is a beautiful cooker. I cant wait to get a hold of mine. For the right now I will live vicariously through all of you who already own a Shirley custom.
