Hey farkers,

Weekend came around and its time to fire up my UDS again. Fitted with new thermometers and some hooks to keep the grate and everything on it from falling into coal basket :)

I have a 2 lbs fatty ( recipe by bludawg) and a 3 lbs piece of pork shoulder.

Fatty will be accompanied by some mashed potatoes and cooked vegetables for lunch while pulled pork ( i hope i get it right this time) will be served in sandwiches for evening party.

I have 8 lbs of coals ready, two six packs of beer too. I will be shooting for 275 degrees / moderately drunk.

Normally I would say that is not enough. But I see you are in Europe and your beer is stronger I'm sure. You should be good to go. Good luck with your cook!
 
6 beers knock me off my feet any day :D So 12 should be plenty for guys coming by as well :). Yeah, our beer is pretty alcoholic :D

I feel the same, bro. Today, we drank Tuborg, a nice Danish beer. 4.6% vol. alcohol.

Only made two lousy photos, need to organize better next time.

I'll be back with photos later.
 
I ate a naked fatty once. Not bad.
