Thinking of smoking a turkey for tomorrow night's Viking / Packer game. How long should a turkey be brined for it to have any effect?

I do mine over night.
Ditto on this. Doing a normal brine on an enhanced bird makes a very salty turkey.....Is it enhanced, normally I cut the salt in half and do overnight.
I usually let mine brine for 2-3 days in ice water salt and seasonings. The meat is great but you tend to loose the great crispy skin.
Never done a dry brine....Can someone explain that for me. or Pics
I thought it was always done in water with whatever seasonings you like.
