I am a newbie to the forum. I have attached a picture of my BBQ. It is small and electric. It vents out the nose and tail. Any suggestions on how to smoke ribs etc. The temp is adjustable and I can put wood chips in a tray below the grill which has lava rocks. Thanks in advance for your input.

That's a cute cooker! How much of a temperature range will it hold? How low will it go?

Grilling area is about 15X10" and it has an adjustable thermostat that can adjust from warm to very hot. It hold heat in for quite some time once warmed up. Not huge but will hold small slab of ribs.

That is a neat little cooker, any thermometer or holes to stick a digital probe in. My advice is to get a good feel of the temp ranges. Being electric it will rise and fall a little bit when the element comes on and off.
