ask earlier this week on what to do with the 2nd pork butt in a twin pack. For those who shop at costco you know that they always come in dual pack. Here are some alternative options I'd like to share.

Great for ground pork. I use it in hamburgers (usually 2/3 ground chuck 1/3 ground pork), egg rolls and a dish call banh bao which is a stuffed steamed bun. You can usually find the flour mix for the bun at local asian markets. You can stuff it with anything, but traditionally I use a ground pork, peas, onions, mushroom, hard boiled egg and Chinese sausage.

But my favorite dish is call thit nuong. Its sliced shoulder (or use can use loin) marinated in lemon grass, honey, salt, pepper, sesame oil, fish sauce, garlic, onions, sugar, canola oil, then grilled hot and fast. Throw it on a bed of lettuce and noodles then top it with some mint, sweet fish sauce, peanuts and pickled carrots and daikons and you are good to go. I also like to eat in on a beget with the pickled veggies.
