My brother (actual brother, not just brethren) Harbormaster, says I'm not chatty enough on the site. So I figure I'd post some pron of cooks I have been doing in hopes of drawing interest for anyone near the Southwest Ohio (tri-state) area who might like to pitch in and help on future cooks.
I normally do OCRs (Obstacle Course Races). GREAT athletes in a great environment who like to EAT! I just did the OCR World Championships last weekend. Went through 34 pork shoulders, 150+ chicken quarters, 160+ baked potatoes, 40+lbs baked beans, 20 lbs coleslaw and 17 gallons of coffee, tea & hot chocolate in 2 days!
I'm using a Shirley 24x75 cabinet and rode her pretty hard this weekend. Incredible cooker. Held temps like a champ!!
Always open to comments and advice.
I look forward to replies.
Sorry I don't have many "in action" shots, but I'm usually pretty busy!

Sevengoals, We had plenty of your neighbors in town. 1700 racers from 28 countries including the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and many more. (I know they aren't next door to you, but closer to you than me!!)

Dude,
You've got that Shirley packed to the gills. OUTSTANDING! Loving the pictures.

I'm glad you posted this Hogsbreath.

I made it down to Ohio to help Hogsbreath on his first cook of this type. We borrowed a Lang from another Brethren (Pigman) and cooked on that for the race. Got a lot of positive feedback from folks regarding the food.

Obviously, I can't make the 8 hour drive every time he has a cook, and the events he cooks for usually conflict with my kids activities.

If he needs help for one of his next cooks and puts out a call here on the Brethren, consider giving him a hand.

No worries on not being chatty enough, Clark says enough for the whole family :p. Nice cook, that's some rock star Qing right there! Thanks for posting it up!

Most likely done with big cooks till spring.
I am doing a cook for my church on Nov 13th for an event the 14th.
If you want to hang out and cook Friday and do some skeet shooting before eating on Saturday, Let me know. It's always a good time!!!
Lebanon Ohio area. Between Cincinnati & Dayton.
