Operation BBQ background check ?

I received this email yesterday from OBR. What kind of background check are they doing now?

“Verify or update any missing information (e.g., address).
Acknowledge essential communications and consent check boxes.
Choose whether Operation BBQ Relief or you will cover the cost.
Once complete, your background check status will change to pending and you will be notified via email once you are cleared. Your status will update automatically in the app.”

I don’t recall doing this when I signed up a couple years ago.

I’d say they’ve had some issues with riff raff somewhere along the way.

They added that recently, online thing, provide some extra info and it's done in 30 seconds. I had to do one last year before the last local thing they did with Weber.
