Freezing Cured Salt Pork

I need to go away for two weeks and would like to cold smoke the salt pork that I've been curing for the past 12 days when I return. Should I

a. keep it in the fridge?
b. put it in the freezer?
c wash it off, dry it, and put it in the freezer?
 
I rinsed and dried it; put it in the freezer.

Another question, though: after cold-smoking it, can I slice and freeze it in batches, or does it need to be used right away?
