Cowboy Candy - Round 2 Fail

Made a batch of cowboy candy with jalapeños, sugar, vinager and spices. First batch was awesome, so since I had extra juice leftover, I made another batch and reused the leftover juice.

The second batch has very little flavor. Nothing like first batch. I thought it would be even better than batch #1. What happened to all the flavor?

And now what do I do with 3 pints of semi flavored/ pickled jalapeños?
