Also the first. Dino Bone Throwdown between Marc with Velvet Smoke BBQ and Henry with Smokin' Pigs Ash BBQ. This benefited Operation BBQ Relief. And 1 st place in the First Dino Bone Throwdown goes to Marc with Velvet Smoke BBQ. Frank and Debbie with Hugs Hogs were Throwdown Reps. Tom - Pappy Q. Cheryl -Getta Q, and Steve-Hogaholics. Were the judges. Next year we are up to four teams joining in already. This made a lot of money for www.operationbbqrelief.org. Thanks to all that participated.

What other Ohio Contests are there? I know when I did a search a couple weeks back the only one that popped up on the KCBS site was the Cincinatti one in October. Would have loved to have seen some competition this last weekend.

On the KCBS site search under "OH". There are events in Kettering, Cincinnati, Nelsonville, Xenia and a new one in north Dayton.
