So it's amazing how time flies.......
Been doing my Q and smokin but wanted to kind of put a bow on what I started....
I had started threads about Briquettes in 2020 Here and then again as an newer inquiry here.. Since I can't respond to those......use those for context....
I had at first thought I would post my pics and do all the setup but....
Guess what....
YT PMs and Cooks did that work for me and prolly better
THIS guy is prolly the best with measurements
Then this guy isn't bad but it at least has most of the products I have used
Finally this guy is alright but all add him for completion but he might just reinforce while being the least quantitative
All in all I think for LONGEST briquettes to stay hot the clear winner is B&B and I've personally seen that with the bag I recently got..
For clarity I have my last bag of RO left, Cowboy, B&B and Kingsford Pro (only cuz I can get it at my CostCo)
B&B IS the hotter overall and keeps the heat the longest....
Cowboy isn't bad and I like the shape
RO still is better than Kingsford but I find that I get the MOST effecient heat to ashe ratio
Kingsford is just available but it's hardly my fave and leaves heaps of ash
So at least for my piece I would agree
But let me know if there are brands that aren't here (or in the vids) that I'm missing.....
