Nice little snack when the mood hits

First butterfly some 16-20 shrimps.

Next lay down a half a strip of bacon and a piece of jalapeño.

Then add a shrimp and season generously with bbq rub of your choice. I used Old Bay.

Wrap the bacon over the shrimp and secure with a toothpick. Use the other end to secure the tail up like a scorpion

Into the smoker at 375

About half an hour later, bacon is looking good

Slather with Bbq sauce and let it go for a couple more minutes.

Looks fantastic!!!
Their on my to-do list (with some pepper jack cheese between the shrimp and jalapeno)?

I'm usually not much for mixing dairy with seafood, but in this case I think it might just work. I was tempted to add a pineapple tidbit in there too, but I couldn't make it fit so I left it out.

Would be more fitting if this pepper was used.
 I'm not sure my stomach could handle that kind of heat! The jalapeno in this was very mild and it definitely could have used more of a kick, but I think a scorpion might be a tad bit overkill
