Alright, I found something to start with for my Brunskick Stew/Burgoo
 
I think it works better if the squirrel is dead, fresh of course, ya' don't want to be using stale squirrel.

The secret to squirrel is using mayo, and wrapping it in foil.

Guess not. I remember as a small child seeing very large rats on a trip to N.Y. Reminds me of that. I'll stick to seafood in my gumbo.
 
Squirrels are rats with a good PR staff.
 
I guess you guys didnt hear...Squirrels are very high in Cholesterol...the bad kind. I used to eat it all the time, but my Dr. told me to stop.
 
....Also, despite the powerful Squirrel Rancher Lobby in D.C. to keep things quiet, Canada and Japan stopped importing American Squirrel meat after a case or two of Mad Squirrel disease.
 
I heard........You cant use them for garnish.... For awhile.
 
The BBQ Squirrel is boiled first.... wonder how they do their BBQ ribs?:wink:
