Windy and cold…but not Adam’s cold!

37 this morning with 12 mph Northeast wind feels like 30! Not as bad as some Brethren but for the Gulf Coast it’s frigid. Saw a 4.5 lb shoulder roast at Winn Dixie regularly $28.00 [emoji43]*[emoji94] but marked down to $14.00. I see pot roast! Grilled for an hour while I stayed inside. Into my Dutch oven with veggies, beef stock and gravy mix for a couple more hours with Hickory chunks for smoke. Nice cold weather meal with leftovers for later in the week.

Had a nice smoke flavor! I see roast beef poboys with gravy in the future. Looks like a warming trend is coming too. Mid 60’s to low 70’s this week. Just in time fro Mardi Gras in 9 days! Laissez les bons temps rouler!! Golf in the morning!
