I'm planning a trip to Ft Worth next year. I have a list of bbq joints covered, probably more places than we visit in one trip. I'm curious about suggestions on areas to stay in. Our group likes breweries, live music and other nightlife so walking distance to things like that would be ideal.

Based on your criteria I would either stay in Sundance Square( I like Aloft, The Worthington or W) or The Stockyards. My favorite in the stockyards believe it or not is a Springhill Suites. You can easily walk to most destinations and it has an awesome rooftop bar. If you have the cash The Drover cannot be beat.

I sure hope Dayne's is on your list off BBQ joints to visit.

Yes, I've been watching Dayne's for a while and I absolutely plan on visiting them.

If you can squeeze it in, Joe T. Garcia's is a great place. Cash only, but worth it.
Choice of chicken or beef (or combo) fajitas, or enchiladas. It's all they do, but they do them well!!
