Can't believe I've never bought one. This Easter I used my parents electric knife to quickly slice up the pork loins (wow so nice to use) and noticed an electric slicing up the brisket in Dwfisks cattleman cook. Is there a type or brand that you like?

This one looks nice but don't know how often I'd use the bread blades.

I know Harry Soo uses this one on the competition circuit. I've had this on my amazon list for a bit now

I have the Cuisinart you show on your post. I use it for turkeys and whole chickens...never any problems. Actually, it's the serrated blades I use almost exclusively....they cut through bird like butter. Happy hunting...

I think mine is an oster or Black and decker... It came from Meyer's and was not expensive. It works great for as little as I use it. I have used pricier ones and didn't really notice much difference. It has serrated blade. I use it on Turkey mostly, and maybe briskets when we have our big bbq and I have 4-5 packers to cut.. Getting it out, setting it up, and cleaning the parts usually keeps me reaching for a regular knife unless there's lots of slicing to do..

I use this one: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Twister-MT-1208-Piranha-Electric/dp/B001448Z8K"]Amazon.com: Piranha Electric Fillet Knife: Sports & Outdoors@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51M2g%2BVcriL.@@AMEPARAM@@51M2g%2BVcriL[/ame]

I have the Cuisinart one as a backup, but the blade has a little too much wobble for my liking.

Used the Cuisinart for the first time on briskets last night. Overall it did a pretty good job and much faster (at least for me) than carving with a large knife.
