This one was tough. I looked at all the cooks at least twice but settled on Shagdog's. The Pepper with extra love is what put it over the top.

Well upon first glance these all appeared to be very solid entries but then came the research...First off say what you will but true chili does not come from a crock-pot so I have to disqualify those entries sorry. Secondly as a native Texan and a former member of multiple cook-off teams I just can't bring myself to vote for any chili that has been contaminated with beans! So that being said there is a clear cut winner with SHENCOSMOKE!

After reading all the cook threads, all were absolutely great!

So I had to make my choice on the plating of the entry so Jed got my vote.

Way to go everyone, these are all top of the line entries.
