With Burger TD and a Fusion TD both happening, it is time for a double entry!


Triple Stack Fusion Burger:

I enjoy sausage and peppers, the classic Italian dish and I enjoy burgers, so why not a fusion of the two?

Started with a medley of bell peppers and onions. Tossed with olive oil and put in the smoker in the CI skillet.

The burger portion is 2-bacon and cheese brat patty’s from Johnsonville
Grillers (the sausage) and also made some beef burger patty’s, was all seasoned with Q-Salt and they too went into the smoker.


Assembled it all and it was delicious!

The order was:
Brat
Beef
Brat
Topped with peppers and onions and finally, fresh basil

Delicious!

I ate most of it (I could easily do this on my younger years, not so much anymore), the dogs were happy to finish the rest.
 
You've been really knocking it out of the park, lately, John - fantastic looking burger!




Just curious, how many times did you flip the burgers?

Yes, yes and yes again. I like to make patties from brats since, for some reason, we do not see the pre-made Johnsonville patties very often. Never thought to include a beef burger.
