Hit 60 today in the Chicago area. Shorts weather, so I thought tri tip would be good for dinner.
Combo of Tatonka Dust & 407BBQ rub. Onto the Big Joe indirect with a couple hunks of pecan til it hit 115.
Cranked up the big Joe for a smokin' hot reverse sear.
Remember., the grain usually changes, so make sure you cut across the grain.
