Just saw the Thermapen Mk4 for $73 plus 3.99 shipping and wanted to give the brethren a heads up if anyone is interested. I won one of these from their monthly email drawing and I can say it's worth every penny they charge for them. Just make sure you get the green cause everyone knows it's the fastest.

I've admitted this before but I resisted buying a Thermapen thinking inexpensive alternatives were just as good. I realized how wrong I was when I bought and use my first Thermapen MK4. I like it so much I keep a spare one in the pantry and will likely never use anything else.

I was missing out for sure.

I bought one at Christmas for $84 and really like it.

It’s the quickest and best instant read I ever used. My old $30 no name instant read seems to take an eternity compared to the thermapen.

I only wish it had a built in magnet like the no name versions so I could keep it on the side of the fridge.
