so a while back my pit boss started tripping breakers. a quick phone call and a new hot rod was sent out under warranty. rather painless. I
put replacing the part off all summer. since I cook Thanksgiving turkey on it I figured I better get on it.
simple fix, a few rusted screws I was done in 15 minutes.
to break It back in I cooked up some surf and turf. cured a piece of red tag salmon (Meijer version of yellow) in 50/50 salt/brown sugar for a few hours. a dash of pepper and a quick maple glaze.
the strip was some cheap gas station loin. I jaccard'dd the fark out of it and dry brined with some old steak rub I found in the cabinet...can't waste the oakridge on bs meat
dinner was good. this post was not. damn I'm rusty
