By the way, there is no such thing as over dirty smoke. Dirty smoke is dirty smoke, no matter how long you expose your meat to dirty smoke.

I have only been around here since 2013. Even in that short time, you notice ebbs and flows as some cookers get hot then warm then seem to drop off the radar. The assassin grills had their minute. I'm sure they are still fine grills- but if no one marketed or kept the hype up... they got lost among the next new thing.

I still love and use my 48 regularly. Very clean fire and smoke, lotsa room and versatile. It’s a fantastic cooker!

My thoughts exactly I read your initial post and thought....where the f is this mystical $600 cooker. I must investigate and all I am seeing is $1000+ and another $100 for Dodger Blue. someday maybe i will score one on the cheap

I was lucky to find a used one in California a few years and still paid $750. Well worth the money, even at grand!

You should have to pay extra for Dodger Blue! :tape:
