Steak, Bacon & Eggs with Chimichurri

There's a "Cookbook Inspired" Throwdown for February so it was a good reason to browse my cookbooks and try a new recipe.

With a "BBQ Breakfast" Throwdown also open, Raichlen's "Buenos Aires "Heart-Stopper" sounded good to me so I got a fire going in my Santa Maria pit:

Put a cast iron skillet on and cooked some bacon:

Some eggs:

And a couple of NY strip steaks butterflied per the recipe:

Made his "Real Chimichurri" as well and plated everything for a pretty tasty breakfast:
