Yeah, if you are not happy with the smoke flavor off of those pellets then Rec Tec will probably never fit your taste. Just make sure you are running around 225. My guess is that you will notice a difference in smoke flavor.

May even run 200 just to get as much as I can. If something is oversmoked for me will consider that great for this purpose!
