G'Day Brethren! :-D
My first TD since moving to the Gold Coast! I managed to have my flat top shipped up to me, and I've still got my WGA but all my other smokers have been donated to friends. I also used to make my own boerewors sausages, but had to sell all my grinder and stuffer to get up here.
It turns out there are a lot of South African's and South African stores up here, so I've bought some Boerewors sausages as they go really well on the flat top.
Here's the first one:
But first some liquid refreshment :becky:
And some onions:
Get the flat top as hot as possible (the heat goes out of this one quickly)
And on it goes:
Open it out.
Flip it.
Served.
There was a bit left but it fed 3 of us.
There was a salad. I didn't have any. :becky:
My housemates are starting to appreciate the flat top which I have been using literally every night since I got here. The weather in the Gold Coast will let me do this year round. And it keeps the kitchen clean!
The Boerewors was really good. Extremely moist and well seasoned. The house owner who is from Zimbabwe said I can do that again!
Thanks for looking!
