OFFICIAL RULES
1) Other than the entry container, all other equipment, grill, fuel, spices, sauces, tables, chairs, etc. must be supplied by the contestant. Water connections will be nearby bring your own hose and splitter. Any fuel can be used–charcoal, gas, etc. Electricity will be available for a $15 donation to the Fire Department. All teams must have a food thermometer and food service gloves.2) All meat MUST be inspected prior to seasoning and cooking to ensure they are in their packaged raw natural state (no pre-marinating is allowed)
3) Set up begins at 5 pm. Teams are allowed to begincooking after meat is inspected. Turn ins begin at noon on Saturday.
This an Amateur BBQ Contest, we have the right to refuse any team that has won or has a team member that has won in a KCBS contest or any other sanctioned non-amateur bbq contest.
