Nebraska to California road trip

Next week, my family is taking a road trip to California via Fort Collins, Co, Rock Springs, Wy, Vernal, UT...Cedar City, UT...Redlands, CA.

Return trip via Henderson, NV...Flagstaff, AZ...Santa Fe, NM...Denver, CO

Any tips on places to stop, both for food, and fun places to stop for kids ages 6, 4, and 2?

It looks like you are going to be driving through Dinosaur, Co. The Dino National Park is worth a stop for the kids. See it here http://www.nps.gov/dino/index.htm and have fun. Looks like a great trip. I used to own a home up above Redlands near Lake Arrowhead. Pretty once you get up there.
