McCloud has been pushing the envelope with his WFC construct, which is a direct competitor for KCBS no matter how you spin it. Looks like the BoD finally put on their big girl panties and stood up to MMA. Surprising really, when you consider McCloud had several board members in his back pocket.
I don't think either KCBS or MMA is in the wrong - both organizations are pushing for what they view as their own corporate best interests, which is as it should be. Those two directions have been in conflict for some time, so it is best that each is now free to follow the path they think is best for that organization.
