Dude, just Buy an Assassin Already (at more than twice the price) .........

I have No issues running my Old Country GF at 250* or 275* or 300* or 325*.

.

I've bought an Assassin.

Did not want to spend my money and time trying to make the Old Country into a good smoker.

Old Country is junk and ya gotta hope there's one in the local Academy that has a door that halfway fits. The only one in stock here had a door that was as crooked as a dogs hind leg.

Your buddy Pitmaster T is posting pics in his Facebook group of fire in the cook chamber coming out of the leaky dam baffle welds.

The people at Old Country have yet to learn that heat rises. Even in the Brazos, they want to direct heat down. And there's a multitude of Brazos and Pecos owners cutting out the baffle to improve their smoker.

Has anyone loaded theirs up to the max with pork butts? I'm hoping to cram 9 in for a charity event this week.
