Due to the possibility of the hurricane coming through, the Hicksville FD event was postponed until the 11th.
They are still accepting sign-ups.
The event is a rib cookoff w/ an additional 3 category judged section with trained judges.
Due to the date change, we could use a few judges. If you're a cook who would like to see things from the other side of the table or a judge who can make it down, please let me know.
If you've been contemplating competing, this is an excellent entry event. It's a 1 day event, not too onerous, lots of friendly folks.
