Has anyone used these and if so how do you like them?

I have not used them. They look pretty cool though.

I found these on Amazon, they look pretty much identical but they're almost $10 cheaper.

I have bought cheepo rubber gloves from lowes and I will tell you do NOT let the inside get wet, it will start to smell so bad you wont want to eat the amazing food you just worked on for hours!!!!

I use heavy neoprene-coated work gloves for handling meat on my smoker. The can get pretty hot - I wonder if the silicone gloves would give more heat protection. I may check them out.

I prefer the cloth ones with the silicon, as they're more comfortable to me. Got these a few weeks ago and have really loved them. Haven't put them to the time test yet, but so far they've worked out perfectly.

I have the exact gloves you linked.

They work just fine, but are a PITA to take off. I don't use them very often tbh because unless my wife is around, I can't get them off by myself. Next time I'm going to use some gold bond or powder before putting them on - I'm sure that will help, but curious to see the post dishwasher results of doing that.

So short story long, I don't recommend unless you have smaller hands. FWIW, my wife has no issues with removal (she uses them for corn on the cob all the time - can reach right in the boiling water instead of trying to tweezer them out).

I want something that i can use to take meat off the smoker and to use to pull pork. In reference to the cloth ones that deguerre mentioned do you just throw them in the washer to clean? I like that they are heat resistant to 662 degrees.

I actually found this site google searching for these bbq gloves! I have pretty big hands and noticed they just released an XL size which I want to try, anyone tried the XL ones yet?

If they were form fitting , you'd never get them off ! I have a pair , they work at protecting your hands from burning , but you run the risk of dropping your meat from being so slippery

XL Ekogrips update

Just got the XL size, they are HUGE but really easy to get on and off, plus they travel about midway up my forearm, love them! Only used for brisket thus far, didn't notice any slipping but wasn't too juicy...

I wear these with a pair of disposable nitrile over the top for handling meat. Great dexterity for turning lots of wings, ABT's...etc. can handle 250 degree food for a few seconds easy.
