Winds 50-60 right now. Was going to smoke some wings. Burn bans everywhere. Now patio cooking in the city is not necessarily legally banned, but no need in upsetting my elderly neighbors with smoke. Wood shingles are the norm, so I'm out for live fire. Rummaging thru freezers found some leftover seasoned hamburger, maybe 1/4#. Grabbed some smoked brisket and a green chile ice cube. Simmered in beer with Chili Powder. Now adding leftover venison chili from two days ago.. Bride is contemplating chili topped tamales. I'm contemplating just in a bowl, with a beer.
